
2021 SEASON INFORMATION
Given the cancellation of our 2020 season, we are excited to plan for the upcoming 2021 season. Coaches and players are eager to get back out on the gridiron when conditions allow. Every year, we look forward to teaching and growing the game among our nine teams spread across the Quinte region.
THIS SEASON (one time only ) WILL INCLUDE
Grade 7's (2008)
Grade 8's (2007)
AND
Grade 9's (2006)
REP TEAM PLAYERS ARE PROHIBITED.
The timing of our spring season will be delayed compared to usual. With various protocols to follow, we feel if we delay the start of our season the odds will improve that we will be able to practice and play.
As always, we will prioritize the health and safety of our
players, coaches, fans and their families if a return to play is allowed. We remain committed to the growth of our sport in the area and continue to look forward to building together a football future for players in the area.
REGISTRATION
Will begin to register players VIRTUALLY starting April 9th. (before Spring Break - April 12 - 16). Return to this site for REGISTRATION of players. We will not collect any playing fee's until individual team are ready to distribute equipment.
TENTATIVE TIMELINES FOR 2021 SEASON
SPRING CAMPS
Depending on Provincial contact sports guidelines. Teams will start practicing week of April 26. Practices will include fitness, speed & agility. No equipment. Amount of contact will be determined by aforemetioned guidelines.
CONTACT PRACTICES
Full contact practices will begin the week of May 10th at latest. Full equipment will be handed out and fee's collected . This date may be glexible with regards to Provincial protocols.
SEASON GAMES
Week 1 of a 9 week season will begin June 3, 4, or 5th.
Championship Saturday will be Saturday July 31st.

Vaccinations for Covid -19.
limited spectators at games and practices.
Field use for practices and games (school boards & City of Belleville) may or may not open their facilities.
PLEASE REMEMBER,
WE WILL HAVE TO BE TOTALLY FLEXIBLE
We all know, things will continually change regarding Covid.
We will do our best to cope with these changes in the hope that Football can be played in 2021.
EITHER WAY, we know kids will be aching to get out and play sports.

EQUIPMENT
All football equipment is loaned. This includes a helmet, pants girdle & knee & shoulder pads, & a practice jersey. Standard mouth guards will also be provided. Some teams require a REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT for use of the equipment.
Players must have their own football cleats & water bottles.
Players can also purchase their own personal mouthguards, chin straps, gloves if they so choose.
No tinted visors are allowed!

SEVEN WEEK REGULAR SEASON WITH MOST GAMES THURSDAY or FRIDAY EVENINGS or SATURDAY MORNINGS.
